Disabled 'lifeline' under threat
The lottery-funded Coast and Country Bus Club takes residents in the Skegness area for day trips.
Last year almost 2,000 people used the service, which is run by the Skegness Day Centre.
But the group's application for £211,000 in lottery funding to continue the service started several years ago was recently rejected.
'Difficult decisions'
The manager of the Skegness Daycare Centre, Tina Veasey, said: "It is a lifeline to many people - it brings meaning to their life and they can't get out without us."
She said it would be difficult to continue the service without the lottery funding.
Big Lottery spokesman Nick McGrath said: "We have to make some difficult decisions but there is a limited amount of money available - some very good projects are not successful.
"The project can reapply and it might get some more funding in the future."
One man who used the service said his wife, who is paralysed, would be virtually confined to the house without the service
