The NDPA Committee |
The National Disabled Police Association’s committee is compiled from up to three elected member from each UK force's disability association or support group as they become affiliated [only one member has voting rights at any meeting]. From these members, six are elected by the Committee to form the cabinet. Each member of the Cabinet can nominate up to two members from the committee to act as their deputy. The Committee can also invite individuals with particular skills or knowledge to join the committee as non voting members.
Membership of the committee depends on being re-elected by local associations or support groups annually. However, Cabinet posts have a three year tenure.
